Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Viva Frei, Karlyn Borysenko, and Walter Kirn about Donald Trump’s big tech lawsuit, Tucker Carlson being a victim of NSA spying, and Randi Weingarten, head of the American Federation of Teachers being caught lying about critical race theory in K-12 education. First Dave gets legal expert Viva Frei to give his assessment of the Donald Trump lawsuit that he filed for his being banned from social media platforms like Google, Twitter, and Facebook. Viva discusses why this lawsuit will be a test of how far the big tech companies can go before they violate the first amendment. He also discusses the likelihood of Trump winning his class action lawsuit and if this could be a blow to big tech censorship. Next, Dave and his guests discuss Fox News host Tucker Carlson and the revelation that the NSA was in fact monitoring his communications as he claimed. While spying on journalists is usually seen as a threat to a free press, mainstream media initially dismissed Tucker’s surveillance claims. However on Wednesday Axios revealed that the NSA had leaked some of Tucker Carlson’s emails with their knowledge that Tucker had been trying to arrange an interview with Vladmir Putin. Finally, Dave shares a clip of Randi Weingarten, head of the American Federation of Teachers, making the claim that critical race theory is not being taught in K-12 schools. Shortly after, the National Education Association voted to make critical race theory in schools a major priority as well as taking on groups that are critical of the curriculum. Teacher’s will most certainly lose the critical race theory debate if they think they can blatantly lie to parents' faces.
