This is my review of the first chapters of Helen Joyce's book 'Trans ~ When Ideology Meets Reality'.
I demonstrate the poor reasoning and unfounded claims that she makes in her book, misrepresenting the tragic David Reimer case and the analysis which Dr Milton Diamond made about it.
Also how she fails to mention any of the research which is indicative of the neurological condition known as transsexualism.

I was very grateful to Kev for inviting me to do this conversation with him recently about the book by Helen Joyce 'Trans ~ When Ideology Meets Reality' which then goes on to discuss the general cultural conflict about the subject that has developed in recent time and also for doing a nice editing job on the presentation.
His blurb was as follows:

This is a video which someone I met at the 1999 White Feather eclipse camp near Totnes sent me shortly afterwards having recorded it from BBC2. I watched it once but then my VHS player broke down before I could get it transferred to a digital format.
An old friend was kind enough to record it onto a DVD for me on Boxing Day 2022 so I am now able to upload it.
It brought back to me how the advance propaganda put people off visiting the West Country so that most of the camps had poor attendance. We get this kind of thing from the BBC all the time these days.
Featuring Ken Kesey and Van Morrison as well as myself in a couple of short clips.

This is a commentary on the presentation I attended of the book launch of Dr Chris Dietz's newly published 'Self Declaration in the Legal Declaration of Gender' at which I took notes and I read from these. Leeds University Law School, 19 Novemeber 2022.
Dr Dietz seems to be an academic law researcher who is documenting the phenomenon of Self ID without fully understanding many of the questions arising about the issue.
I also comment on what the other two speakers, who seem to be advocates and activists for Self ID, said about the subject.

In this video I introduce the philosophical considerations underlying my book The War on Gender: Postmodernism and Trans Identity. I used the term 'Narradigm' as we have a current conflict between the existing materialist reductionist paradigm and the postmodernist gender ideology narrative. I acknowledge Clif High as the originator of this term. I discuss Rene Descartes who first conceptually separated the mind from the body and how this needs to be reintegrated in the manner of what has been called 'Whole Person' theory. I also discuss Immanuel Kant's concept of 'Thing in Itself' and how we extract synthetic a priori judgements about the categories of existence, of which gender (not sex) is one of these.

This is my interview with Alexander Wolfheze a fellow author publishing with Arktos Books discussing my book The War on Gender (Postmodernism and Trans Identity). I take what I call a radical centrist position, recognising that trans people have existed in different societies for thousands of years and that ways must be found to integrate us with society in such a way as to accept our identities without fundamentally changing the understanding of sex and gender.

Claire Rae Randall was awarded an Honours degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Leeds University in 1977, where she had specialised in Philosophies of Mind and Religion and Physiological Psychology.
She qualified as an Art Therapist in 1982, trained in Psychiatric Nursing and taught Psychology in Further Education. In 2015 she published Waking the Monkey!: Becoming the Hundredth Monkey (A Book for Spiritual Warriors), a personal account of her experiences at the Hundredth Monkey Experiment in Consciousness Event in the summer of 1995.
She is also a local historian of Headingley, Leeds, where she has given talks on author J. R. R. Tolkien and the influence that his time there in the 1920s may have had on his work.

In the second part of my introduction to the concepts on which my book The War on Gender: Postmodernism and Trans Identity is based I go into the neuro-developmental issues involved and argue that there is ample evidence that transsexualism is a hard wired neurological phenomenon. I then explore how this has to be realised in our lives and externalised before it can be fully recognised, and how transition is like an apprenticeship, while medical reassignment is a Rite of Passage which formally brings the individual into the group either as a full or at least honorary member. I also discuss current trends, represented by such as Dr Jordan Peterson, to prevent gender reassignment completely by making it illegal due to the massive rise in detransition and post surgical regret, but I argue that he admits it may be positive for some people and that those capable of individuating in this way should not be prevented by authoritarian measures imposed to satisfy collective conformity. In this talk to Leeds Combined Arts on 23 June 2021 Claire Rae Randall goes into the philosophical background to CS Lewis's thought and cosmology as it developed in the previous two decades before the Chronicles of Narnia were published.
Covering planetary archetypes, the War in Heaven, angels and demons, his Cosmic Interplanetary Trilogy and transhumanism, with reference to AE Waite, Charles Williams, WB Yeats, Rudolf Steiner and Aleister Crowley.
