Survivors of a global holocaust find a recorder and keep a diary of their lives, including their fear of the glow winds and a massive wheel which annihilates everything in its path.

Seeing Ear Theater was an internet drama troupe that attempted to capture the feel of older science fiction radio plays. Content was originally maintained by SciFi.com, though no longer. Many plays were based on famous authors, including William Tenn, Franz Kafka, and Clive Barker.

Power Records - Conan: Shadow of the Stolen City

Originally created in 1976

Conan comes across a lone man in the desert who claims his city was stolen from him.

Power Records, also known as Peter Pan Records, was a label created by a company called Synthetic Plastics, who owned several other labels. The shows they produced featured licensed characters such as Peter Pan, Superman, Batman, the Lone Ranger, plus shows like Star Trek.

Based on a story by Fritz Leiber. A story about a future ruled by the Thinkers, and the computer brain they rely upon.

Initially a revival of NBC's Dimension X (1950-51). Known for high production values in adapting stories from the leading American authors of the era, X Minus One has been described as one of the finest offerings of American radio drama and one of the best science fiction series in any medium.

Suspense: The Bluebeard of Bellac

Originally aired September 21st, 1944

In Nazi-occupied France, a woman suspects her husband is a serial killer.

Suspense was a radio drama series broadcast on CBS Radio from 1940 through 1962. One of the premier drama programs of the Golden Age of Radio, it was subtitled "radio's outstanding theater of thrills" and focused on suspense thriller-type scripts, usually featuring leading Hollywood actors of the era. With a few exceptions, most shows involved the protagonist, who is a normal person, being suddenly dropped into a threatening or bizarre situation.

Nightfall: Wildcats

Originally aired February 27th, 1981

A man gets off at the wrong train station and must spend the night in a hotel run by two sisters in fear of wildcats.

Nightfall is a radio drama series produced and aired by CBC Radio. Though primarily a supernatural/horror series, the show featured episodes in the genres of science fiction, mystery, fantasy, and human drama. Some episodes were so terrifying that numerous complaints were registered, causing some affliliate stations to drop the series.

Fear on Four: Survival

Originally aired March 19th, 1989

A luxury spacecraft goes off course, leaving the occupants to their own devices.

Fear on Four ran between 1988 and 1992 and is a revival of Appointment with Fear series, which originally broadcast on the BBC in the 1940s and 1950s. The series was also revived in 1949 (and in 2009) as The Man in Black. The stories, introduced by a character known as the Man in Black, ranged from classic stories--such as Edgar Allan Poe or W. W. Jacobs--to newer writers. An anthology of stories from the first two series (Appointment with Fear & the Man in Black) was published by BBC Books in 1990.

Though not the first science fiction radio series, the series had a strong standing in the science fiction community. Many stories were based off famous science fiction authors at the time. The series ran from 1950 to 1951, then later was reborn as X Minus One.

Randy Stone is a reporter who covers the night beat for the Chicago Star. Most of the show consisted of suspense and crime stories, though it occasionally featured sentimental or humorous stories. The show was later given a pilot for a potential TV series, which never materialized.
