On 27 January 1995 more than 50 black policeman, members of the Police and Prison workers union (POPCRU), decided to strike and 'take over' the Orlando police station in Soweto. Under South African law this is an act of mutiny, even though this was 1995 and the ANC black government was in power from May 1994 the police was still part of the security forces and was subject to to same rules as the military concerning discipline.

The new black government ordered the units to retake the police station, by this time the units actually had many black members in its ranks but many asked to be excused from the operation due to fear of reprisals from other black members.
This was a large police station of over 200 members, of which only 5 were white, this union wanted the last 5 white members transferred from the station. members from unit 3 and 5 with dog unit members liberated the station.
The unit was still officially the ISD, but the old camouflage uniform was replaced.
In February the unit's name was changed to Public Order Policing (POP).

A older, but popular, Afrikaans song with a slide show of ISD members. The song reflects on life and its trials and tribulations, its about standing up after you fall. It also asks the question; who can understand it. The English translation of the title 'Wie kan dit verstaan' is who can understand it.

On 24 August 1990 the South African government declared a state of emergency due to black on black political violence in the predominantly black townships.

This video shows the inability or no desire to investigate corruption. No accountability and no checks and balances.

Someone made a before and after video of the police college in Pretoria. It shows the neglect of a once very well kept government institution.

An ex-member made a video at the police college in Pretoria. This specifically looks at the Olympic pool land dive pit, these were always kept in pristine condition. Then life-saving was part of the curriculum and the diving board and pit was used to tread water with a brick in the hand.

Police track and chase down a hi-jacked motor vehicle with a radio tracker, that is the constant beep sounds. Probably around 2014, could be Highway Patrol or the robbery reaction units run by the units after 1995. After 1995 the units were renamed Public Order Policing then later Area Crime Combating Units.

British welfare campaigner, Emily Hobhouse, appalled at the plight of Boer women and children in British Concentration Camps during the Anglo-Boer War in 1900-1902, gives voice to their suffering in a series of reports bringing to the attention of the British public the high mortality rate in which an average of 50 children a day were dying a result of overcrowding, unhygienic conditions, neglect and lack of resources.

SAP COIN: South African Police Counterinsurgency, consisted of regular serving members of the SAP that rendered service on the border during the Bush War. Duties were foot patrols, vehicle patrols, tracking and follow-up operations and co-operation with Koevoet and the Army. Tours were up to 3 months.
Some footage of Koevoet members on clip.

The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.

The Trojan Horse was a joint operation between the South African Railway Police (SARP) and the South African Police (SAP) due to many railway trucks being attacked in certain areas that were very political. The railway was a government agency and the railway police SARP was a government agency that also dealt with harbors, freight and ports.
After the event rumors ran that foreign media might have being paying people to attack the trucks to provoke a police response.
You will notice that the police don't shoot a bloke on a bicycle because he wasn't throwing stones, disproving that the police fired indiscriminately.

Originally I had a very good quality copy on YTube, but the removed it.

A song from Koos Kombuis

hoe kan 'n mens so Kersfees vier, hoe kan 'n mens so kersfees vier
Chorus:
Voort, voort in Parow-Noord
Ben om die hoek is kwaad, want sy eks-vrou le al weer op straat
daar's geen teken van sy e-time, sy's weg met alles tot die hosepipe
en vergas haarself met die advokaat, sy vergas haarself met die advokaat
Ek droom nou van my Volkskas teller, ek is gebuig soos Uri Geller

ek is oortrokke by die bank, my dogter is 'n boere-punk
maar dank God ek's ten minste blank, voort, voort
Ek rook zol in die vrugteboord, suip by die vakansie-oord
maar wat se ek by die hemelpoort van my meidnaai en familiemoord
fok voort in Parow-Noord

Canadian journo totally crushes MSM reporter on what’s actually going on in Syria.
The MSM don't let facts keep them away from some agenda, sadly the agenda doesn't always involve reporting the whole truth.

Incursion of Ciskei border. The African National Congress (ANC) and South African Communist Party (SACP) decided to lead thousands of their followers illegally through the border fence in a bid to overthrow the Ciskei government. The ANC and SACP leaders led their people from South Africa into Ciskei, chaos ensured and the troops of the Ciskei fired on the attackers. Ciskei was an independent black homeland that wasn't interested in Communism, as it was a traditional homeland. This is also known as the Bisho massacre

A Rhodesian Airline plane RH825 is shot down by terrorists, the pilot manages to crash land this plane saving 18 people. Of the 18 survivors only 5 made it back home; the terrorists tracked the crashed plane, shot and bayoneted 13 survivors. The 5 only survived because they went to find water. This is audio of the memorial service in 1978, and a lot of truth is spoken by the The Very Reverend John Da Costa. The Western media and leaders failed to condemn this act of terror, and the murder of injured victims. This act of terror never even made newspapers in the West, we must ask why? A lot of truth is spoken during this service, this is an eye opener especially for what is happening in our world today.

This is how easy it is to hide an event when those that control the governments and media decide to hide an inconvenient truth.
