Here is a nice performing zoom light/flood light from Nicron with their N81! This runs on either a AA or 18650 cells. The flashlight can provide a huge flood beam at once. You can zoom this light to increase range. The flood beam is bright for its size. You will get the full 700 lumens if an 18650 is used. Using a AA will be less bright by almost 60% less light output. The runtime are nice. This is small enough for most EDC use. This is best used indoors. See links below to get this from their Amazon store:

Here is another flashlight from JetBeam with their improved Jet-BC40 Pro. This is sporting the XHP50 LED. This has a very nice combination beam type. This runs on two 18650 cells. This looks and build quality on this light is very nice. The machining & finish is excellent. This can put out a lot of light and throw it very well too. I like this beam type better than dedicated thrower beam types because of the laser beam affect which can make it hard to track and object in the distance.
