Ra-abs youngest son Nekht is 10 now and Ra-ab knows that he is going to become a great priest, yet has to discover this for himself. He is finding out that he has the gift of helping people who are dying or close to death. Joan was born 1907 and passed in 1989. and throughout her life she was preoccupied with the subject of ethics, to her it represented the fundamental and timeless code of attitudes and behaviour towards one another on which the health of the individual and society depends. Denys Kelsey, her last husband wrote "The first Dynasty of Egypt once knew the code well, but lost it and foundered. 11 Dynasties were to pass before it was recovered, but those were more leisurely times where arrows, javelins and a club were the most lethal weapons.
We continue to story of Ra-Ab Hotep who we know from "Eyes of Horus" and we continue here in ancient Egypt. The new Pharaoh is Amenemhet who was a vizier and has been chosen. He has chosen a wife who is the daughter of Men-het the previous Pharaoh and her manipulative mother. His wife died and her son Senusert would be the next Pharaoh after Amemenhets death.

More than 10 Years have passed since RA-AB talked to Pharaoh Amamenhet. They meet again and he is asked for a favour by Pharaoh, to take his son Senusert to the Oryx and teach him the right way- and take him away from his Grandmother who is a bad influence .. Senusert has now been living in the Oryx. Grandmother is dead as well now.. Beket, Ra-abs daughter loves animals and it is causing trouble in the house. Ra-Ab discusses matters with Senusert who is learning the right way in the Oryx He had defeated the priests of Set in The Eyes of Horus but there are still judgements to be made. Here Beket - the daugher of Ra-ab, meeting him with a problem about her leopard.
