Every day it feels like Kpop is losing more and more of its squeaky clean image - with racier concepts and provocative lyrics. And now with younger and younger idols!

With the release of rookie group NewJeans who's members ages range from 14-18 and they gained notoriety through their song "Cookie" with it's highly questionable lyrics containing innuendos and English slang terms. One has to stop to ask what this implies for the future of Kpop? Is Kpop going too far?

As every Kpop veteran knows, Super Junior have been around for 15 years as of November 6th 2020 (and technically this year is Kyuhyun's 15th year as he debuted a year later). Being one of the longest running groups in South Korea they have paved the way for many groups in Kpop!
