So you find it... THE ONE! The perfect home! You make the offer, it get's accepted, you do your home inspection and get ready to close and then BAM! It hits you! The sellers have bamboozled you! You've been SCAMED! Cheated! Betrayed! But why? Why would a home seller hurt you in this way? What would they need to do this to you? Did you do something wrong? Do you not properly do your due diligence? Was it not on your buyer home inspection checklist? Or is it a simple mistake? But whose mistake? Yours? Your Realtors? Maybe the guy with bad grammar writing this stupid discription in the hope of ranking higher in the youtube search regarding search terms like home inspection? I'm not sure....But, maybe you'... The June RE/MAX Housing Report shows that home prices are still increasing. The average home price in Whatcom County this month is $425,000 whereas last June it was $395,000. This is an increase of around 7.6%.
As we start the month of July and the busy season is in full swing, we will continue to see more homes being listed with higher prices all over the county!

Pending is when a buyer makes an offer on a house and is in the process of doing their due diligence such as inspection, finishing up their financing, etc. However! you can't see the home if it's pending (with a few exceptions). If the sale falls through then a home is no longer pending and is now for sale again!
