It’s Bisan From Gaza | Israel Made All These People Homeless

Palestinian families are returning to their homes, many of which have been reduced to rubble.

More than 60% of homes in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed and thousands of people are missing under the rubble.

Bisan Owda, a video journalist in Gaza, followed families in the southern town of Khuza’a as they search for remains of their lives under the rubble.

Residents of the town are determined to rebuild their homes after surviving previous Israeli airstrikes in 2014 and in 2021.

This video was filmed during the temporary ceasefire in Gaza.

Nerves Are Shot, Emotions Run High from Non-Stop Bombardment Going for More Than 40 days!

An Israeli air strike on a UN-run school sheltering displaced Palestinians at the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza killed at least 15 people and injured dozens more, according to a doctor at al-Shifa Hospital.

According to CNN, the Israeli Defense Forces allege the Central Jabalya Battalion took control of civilian buildings, adding collapsed tunnels were partly a reason for the destruction caused by the strike on Tuesday.

"I carried a body and another decapitated body with my own hands," a Gazan boy said at the site.

At least 9,488 Palestinians including 5000 children have been killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza since Oct. 7, the health ministry in Hamas-controlled Gaza said on Saturday.

"There are 15 martyrs and the number is expected to increase," Mohammad Abu Selmeyah, who is also an official in the health ministry in the Hamas-run enclave, said.

During the conflict, Israel consistently claims it's targeting Hamas militants with 7 attacks on the Israeli kibbutz, Be'eri kibbutz.

Two Journalists Killed by Israeli Strike in Lebanon

The two journalists killed, Farah Omar 25 yrs old & Rabbi Mamari (father of 2) worked for Al Mayadeen News based in Beirut and were politically allied with Hezbollah.

They were killed by an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon. The broadcaster, Al Mayadeen News, said the correspondent, Farah Omar and cameraman Rabih Maamari were targeted. The strike also killed a man from the border village of Tair Harfa, according to Al Mayadeen's director Ghassan bin Jiddo.

Israel-Hamas Hostage Deal Highlights Plight of Palestinian Prisoners | Many of Them Children

With a four-day ceasefire, Israel & Hamas set to expire after Monday, we look at who has been released and the growing pressure to extend the pause in fighting that has given Gaza residents small respite from Israel’s relentless bombardment and hopefully humanitarian aid will reach the people inside the territory that so desperately need it!

The pause began Friday to allow for the release of Israelis and foreign nationals kept hostage by militants in Gaza in exchange for the freedom of some of the thousands of Palestinians held in Israeli jails, many of whom are minors and women.

“There are over 7,000 Palestinian political prisoners inside Israeli prisons right now. More than 2,500 held under administrative detention … without a charge and without a trial!” says Tala Nasir, a lawyer with Addameer, a group that advocates for Palestinian prisoners.

We also speak with Israeli journalist Orly Noy, who says the sheer number of Palestinian prisoners shows “how central the tool of incarceration is in the Israeli project” of occupying and oppressing Palestinians. “The same system, that allows every Jewish settler, citizen, soldier or policeman to WALK-AWAY after killing Palestinians in the most outrageous way, as a 12-year-old who threw a stone, as a dangerous terrorist”!

Al Jazeera Reporter’s Family Receives Threats from Israel to Leave Their Home in Gaza

Israel has threatened Al Jazeera's correspondent in Gaza, Youmna ElSayed, telling her and her family to leave their home, or risk being killed.
Youmna ElSayed’s husband received the call on Monday and was told to flee Gaza City and head south, even though there are no safe routes out of the area.
On Tuesday, the family of Al Jazeera's Gaza bureau chief, Wael Dahdouh, was killed in an air strike. He lost his wife, son, daughter and grandson.
In a statement, Al Jazeera said it “condemns the Israeli threat” towards ElSayed and her family. “This vile threat comes only a few days after the indiscriminate killing of the family of Al Jazeera Arabic’s journalist, Wael al-Dahdouh, who were asked to move south before being bombed,” it said.
In response to threats from Israeli forces received by Al Jazeera’s Youmna ElSayed, who remains in Gaza City, the UN Secretary-General’s spokesperson has said that journalists in Gaza must be protected. But unfortunately, the reporters are being targeted! Many have already been murdered!
