Book Reviews

This is the book review of the Bulgarian version of "The Mountauk Project: Experiements in Time", that I did back in February of 2018. I first uploaded it on my secondary channel (OuroBoris), but I see no reason why I shouldn't put it here as well. I have added and edited some bits here and there for a more entertaining watch and also in memory of Preston Nichols.

He passed away in October of last year. So this upload may be seen as a small tribute to him and his work and contribution. I really like the entire Montauk series and I don't mind the high strangeness and the relative over the top writing style. As a matter of fact I always enojoyed such books. As much as a enjoy watching all the seasons of The X-Files and other similar TV shows, I operate in the same spirit with these types of reads. Peter Moon also delivers a high class editing and writing and his collaboration with Preston in the entire series deserves a closer look and discussion. Not to be discarded with a quick sweep of a hand. There is also a substatial portion of humour in there, which I liked quite a lot, and spat out my coffee a few times while reading. In my honest and humble opinion, It gives the narative a more stable and "down to earth" taste and it keeps the reader engaged . More books in the same vein are always welcome on my shelf. (or on any shelf if that is what people like to read these days...)

Howdy! Here I am presenting my reading from Gordon White's legendary chaos magic artefact, "Pieces of Eight: Chaos Magic Essays and Enchantments". This is a full playlist of 4 separate videos and each following part will be added in the end screen of every single video. It was initially intended to be just a one 30 minute review/reading from his book, but I have suffered unimaginable cosmic horrors with my video editing software and I had to cut it in "pieces" (pun intended) and upload in that format. I am pretty sure that we can all agree that this is the true chaos magic way of doing things and editing videos, but of course you can thank me later in the comment section below or just buy me a pint of ale or say thanks in the comment frield. Also, I am very much aware of the fact that these videos are in somewhat "poor" quality for "peasants only", meaning they are only in 480p, instead of the regular 720p, but then again as I have already clarified, I had issues with my video editing spell book and couldn't possible export them in higher quality. As much as I wanted to, it was just not possible. I of course have my original 1080p files burned on a DVD and store for the ages and may at some point in time re-do the entire video in better quality, but I am not promising anything. I hope that is clear now and I truly hope you will enjoy these readings (as much as I did making them) and please do buy the book and read it you youself.
