Pokemon Related Playthroughs
A playlist of all my Pokemon related playthroughs including the "Five Showdown Matches" series.
First of all, no this is NOT a Nuzlocke. This is just a straight playthrough of the game using my personal favorite Pokemon. Second, these videos will be heavily edited to save time (in other words, the grinding/saving/healing and basically all the repetitive parts will be trimmed).
Gen 5 happens to be my favorite gen. Specifically with the first two games, GameFreak did a bold move by not letting you catch prior gen pokemon untill after you get the NationalDex. To compensate this, the Unova region has a large list of pokemon to catch (bigger than Gen 1 by a couple pokemon). I honestly believe that all of the Pokemon games after Gen 2 (which techincally was a sequel to Gen 1) should have gone this route as well, since it keeps things interesting and fresh. This is also my favorite Generation because the Unova region is based off of USA... more specifically a few parts of Jersey and most of the 5 burrows of New York. Since I'm a fellow New Yorker (technically from Long Lsland but I lived in Queens as a kid), it's a game I can relate to. This is also the reason why I'm using real life locations as the cover art for these videos.

**So I know I said I would continue this series once march started but 1. Last week was my birthday week, so I just took a "vacation" from BitChute, and 2. editing these takes a lot more time than any other video I've edited before. Don't be surprised if you don't see another one of these once next "fall" shows up. Also in case you're wondering, "D.U.M.B.O." stands for "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass", which is a real-life location that Nacrene City is based off of**

Some people will say me purposefully gimping Krookodile for a gimmic is stupid.
Some people need to learn how to have some fun.

It's been a while since I've done one of these. Pokemon Sword and Shield was the final death nail in the coffin for me regarding giving up on the main games. Aside from the complete nuke of the National Dex, majority of the pokemon in that gen aren't even that appealing (including the dragons, which is my #1 favorite type). However, Showdown did something good and smart for a change and created a "National Dex" format to include every pokemon (non-ubers of course) available to play. Only catch is that Dynamaxing is banned, but considering Megas & Z-Moves are in, I'm not crying over the loss of that mechanic.
As always my skills are quite poor in these games, so don't expect competitive style playing from me. However if you want to try my sets out, here is the list below you can import into Showdown.

DONT. FUCKLE. WITH. SHUCKLE,
So yea this one is a long one, for obvious reasons. I'm genuinely surprised the people I faced against stayed for as long as they did. I completely forgot how vulnerable pure grass type was to almost everything. It might actually be on par with ice types. It's also the reason why I had to switch between monotype and UU. To put it into perspective, I made this team back in MAY... that's how much I kept loosing. Also for the record I NEVER touch Sunflora, but after looking at it's movepool and seeing "Flower Shield" and realizing what it can do as a Z-Move, I decided to play around with it.
Side note, I had no idea the grass pokemon I used were so SMALL height-wise. With the exception of Meganium (5'11") everyone else is between 2-3 feet.

So for those of you that don't know who Green is, she's a character that was SUPPOSED to be a main character in the games like Leaf, Red, and Blue (and was even featured in a comic at one point), but didn't actually make her in-game appearance until Let's Go: Pikachu/Eevee, hence that is the team I used for this video (but using her classic look in the video cover because classic > current, hands down). Unfortunately, Mega Blastoise is banned in NationalDex, even in OU, so I had to traverse to the past gen categories, specifically 7th Gen OU, to actually play as this team. To make matters worse, since it's OU, half the teams I encountered were legendary bullshit. But I somehow made it to five matches, so at least there's that.
