*** Recorded May 17, 1958 ***
While stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, Elvis used to pay almost daily visits to DJ Eddie Fadal, whom he have met in 1956, in Waco.
In one of these meetings, in the last days of his stay in Texas, shortly before returning to Memphis to then go to Nashville to record new songs, Elvis took Anita Wood to a birthday party at Fadal's house.
Eddie then turned on his recorder and recorded one of the greatest moments in the singer's amateur recording history during his time in the Army.
In it you can hear the King of Rock singing and playing the piano with his friends in more than 30 minutes of non-stop music.
Such a gem would be hidden from the world for a long time until it was released on an LP under the title "Forever Young, Forever Beautiful" by the bootleg label Memphis Flash, in 1978.
The record was very successful in the USA and attracted international fans, since the release of unknown recordings of Elvis were really rare in that period.
Over time, he would become a collector's gem.
Here we bring you Eddie Fadal's tape in its entirety. We hope you like it. Enjoy!

**"*Elvis Sails*"** is an EP by Elvis Presley at *RCA*.
**It was released on *RCA Victor*, catalog number **EPA 4325**, on November 18, 1958.**
"Elvis Sails" is the King of Rock's first talk-only album, released on the occasion of his trip to Germany to serve in the US Army.
It contains excerpts from interviews recorded on his departure day, September 22, 1958.
The album was cut by RCA after a pitch by Colonel Parker, who had convinced Steve Sholes that it'd be successful, as "any fan would want any material from Elvis now that he's leaving for two years".
Upon its release on November 18, 1958, as Elvis' last work that year, it came as a big surprise to discover that Parker's keen nose for profit sources was once again right.
The record spent twelve weeks at the top of the Billboard EP charts, peaking at number two for some time.
This unexpected result led RCA to re-release the EP over the next two years, making this first edition a rare collector's item worldwide.
Here we bring you ALL THREE FULL INTERVIEWS used to create the 1958 EP. We hope you like it. Enjoy!

*** Recorded December 21-31, 1958 & April 1959 ***
Elvis spent less than 18 months in Germany, but his presence left an indelible mark on the small town of Hesse.
Sometime around December 25, 1958, Elvis and his friends sat in the living room of his Grunewald Hotel suite and Charlie Hodge turned on his personal recorder. Two one-hour tapes were recorded, featuring the boys having fun with a few songs.
In 1959 Elvis was already living in a house at 14 Goethestrasse in Bad Nauheim. By that time, RCA had pressured Colonel Parker to ask his protege for new recordings, so the agent sent a microphone and a professional recorder to Germany.
These three tapes were never officially released in full until VIK's "Are You Lonesome Tonight? - The Uncut Bad Nauheim Tapes" in 2018 and MRS' "Made in Germany - The Complete Private Recordings" in 2019.
Here we bring you the complete Bad Nauheim tapes. We hope you like it. Enjoy!
