Funkwerks White Belgian Style Wheat Ale w Spices 3.75/5

Funkwerks White Belgian Style Wheat Ale w Spices comes in with a nice light nose and no hint of the heavy Belgian yeast you'd expect. Running an ABV of 4.8 ( or ALC by Volume, wtf is that shit?) less than 10 IBUs as you'd expect in a wit and the SRM is maybe 6. She's a pretty gold but cloudy brew.
The initial hit is clean smooth and light but the Belgian flavor comes out of hiding right away. I didn't find the orange/lemon zest to be present, but the way my snooter is acting up thats not much of a surprise. ( yes I know "allergies". I pretty sure I'm "allergic" to the stuff they're spraying to "geoengineer" the atmosphere) I didn't find the coriander or chamomile to be there in any large amount either. It's completely possible they've blended the flavors to be smooth and subtle. I wouldn't doubt it but my experience w this brewery is limited to this and a very tasty Saison. Could be they have a solid brewmeister who knows his art well.
As always I have no connection to any of these companies. She burns fast thru the middle which is very light, almost non-existent to the old barbarians palate and finishes off clean ,crisp and dry. A good beer to be sure.
