After making his first batch of larddogs, he sees a nearby stand that already had the idea first and became a profitable franchise from it. Kyle became disheartened and abandoned his larddogs and went home. His larddogs would be sampled by passing citizens and they would realize just how better they are than the larddogs at the nearby stand. Unbeknownst to Kyle, his larddogs would put the rival franchise out of business.
