As unnerving as the death of the dam foreman was, when invited to play a game of Zombie Tag with your fellow club members only a morally bankrupt, mentally-defective tool would be heartless and stupid enough to decline. And what would be an even WORSE thing to decline than a game of Zombie Tag? Letting a life-sized statue of Colonel Sanders that Rena, one of your friends from the same club, discovers in a garbage dump that just so happens to be located right next to the same dam that said unnerving murder took place in be left buried and forgotten under a mountain of trash, forever alone but still loved by Rena. Of course, Neo isn't mentally-defective and morally-bankrupt enough to decline EITHER of these things (he knows, he checked), so off he goes, doing whatever he can to survive the zombie apocalypse while rescuing Colonel Sanders from certain doom!
