During my first playthrough of this stage, I wondered at first why the level had a -2 score. The stage looked great and the enemy setups were pretty well done in the first section. Then, I reached the first (and only one before the room next to the boss fight) checkpoint and there was this MASSIVE spike in difficulty. There was also a spot with the Sniper Joe where you were forced to take damage. Lastly, the screen shown in the video thumbnail can give players a scare since the spike is right there when the screen transitions. While the challenges were mostly pretty fair, introducing them in a more gradual manner would have made for a better experience along with 1 more checkpoint. I still gave the level a thumbs-up off-camera because I really did appreciate all that went into making it, but wanted to give some constructive criticism.
