Volfoss is tactical RPG which was only released in Japan. It was developed by Office I and published by Namco. The game is set in dark world, which is a mixture between fantasy and science fiction.You play a guy called Sharvus, who is a "trooper", which is basically a mercenary. There are various groups of troopers throughout the world, and Sharvus belongs to the group "Silver Fang". The group has recently lost their leader and is in disarray.
The battles are displayed in real-time 3D from an isometric perspective. The camera can be rotated in 90 degree turns. Sharvus has various creatures under his command, which can be hired between missions. Before you start a battle, you can choose which of your underlings you want to take into battle. Other characters, including other members of Silver fang, are controlled by the CPU.
