like most cities that have existed for centuries, New York City was built to endure most forms of weather common to its region. that hasn't stopped its government from attempting to convince residents that because of THEIR irresponsible enjoyment of the creature comforts of what was once called the First World, all it takes to send civilization crumbling into the nearest toilet is a little rain. the reality is not so simple, as i accidentally discovered by driving through this psyop as it was being constructed.
