There'll be one in almost every level. Anyway, Sam, Kenny, and Rodriguez finish placing their beacons, but Jones hasn't reported in yet so Sam has to check on him. When he finds Jones, he sees him in the clutches of a Khnum. The Khnum takes a bite out of Jones, killing him. After an intense fight, the Khnum is severely wounded and dying. As Sam cuts out the beacon it ate as well, he mentions that Jones had a twin brother before stabbing the beacon through its skull. We met Jones' brother in Serious Sam 3. He'll get blown up by a kamikaze shortly after Rodriguez gets killed. Anyway, with the beacons all set, General Brand gives the order to activate HAARP despite Sam trying to tell him that they're still in the area despite a lot of static and interference. Vesuvius erupts and Hell is gonna break loose.
