Unfortunately, no one around fits that bill except for this dead Hexipal Shay found on the beach. It needs new wires in order for it to work. Shay trades with Car'l a hook for some wire. Now we get the second infamous puzzle in the game, the Hexipal wiring puzzle. Don't worry, I'm here to help you. It's another randomized puzzle, but easy to solve. The solution is the same and you can see what it is if you viewed the family photo in Hope's control room during Vella's half of the story. Hopefully, you've written it down. There's no knowing which symbols correspond to the points you need to wire, that's the randomized part. To save you some trial and error, just wire the points circling around the Hexipal and then write down the location. Once you've written the six different symbols' locations, take a look at the solution one more time and then start wiring. Once that's done the Hexipal jumps to life fully wired and starts eagerly repairing Alex's ship. Vella's family arrives just in time to question Shay about their daughter. Shay tells them she's beyond the Plague Dam and the ship is taking off so they can find her. Meanwhile, Marekai leaves the ship and Hope allows the ship to pilot out of the docking station just as the ice cream completely melts and the Fusion Orb comes to life and starts rapidly overheating. He makes a jump towards getting back on the ship as the whole place explodes. Alex's ship makes it to the Plague Dam and then Shay's ship arrives from the Plague Dam and the two ships collide. Suddenly, the Plague Dam's defenses start firing onto Shay's ship.
