This video is a supplement to Pt. 2 and mentions differences when dealing with motorized or mechanized units (wheeled or tracked). The vehicle crew stays with the vehicle and is not part of the perimeter where the dismounts set up their positions. Their job is to keep the vehicle ready for immediate roll out if required because of operations or discovery by the enemy. The enemy will employ close air support and indirect fires (artillery) to destroy mounted units. So you need to be able to pull out at a moments notice.
