Satoshi is becoming more and more withdrawn as time goes on, with less and less people seeing him outside of school, and every one of his friends can only stand by and watch things happen due to being unable to help Satoshi and his sister with the abuse they're experiencing at home. Shion, on the other hand, is not content to just sit by and hope that things magically improve, and so arranges with Mion to trade places with her on one of Mion's school days so Shion can see Satoshi while he's at school.
But as soon as Shion finally manages to get Satoshi alone to speak with him, she completely bungles the conversation and says one thing after another that ends up sounding worse than she intended and as a result ends up having the exact opposite effect of cheering Satoshi up, with Satoshi coldly walking away from Shion when his patience runs out. This turn of events greatly upsets Shion, but when she hears Satoko begin crying after clumsily walking into another student and spilling their lunch, apologizing profusely for the act, something inside Shion completely snaps... and Neo can only watch in absolute horror as Shion decides to deal with the frustration she's having with Satoshi's home situation as well as Satoko herself, whom Shion believes to effectively be the main source of Satoshi's problems at home, in a VERY violent fashion...
