Roadside in Lokoja Covered With Floodwater

Sections of Lokoja, Nigeria, were flooded on September 18 as torrential rains continued to inundate the country. This footage is described as showing flooding along the Ganaja Road in Lokoja. Nigerian President Muhamadu Buhari declared a natural disaster in the states of Kogi, Niger, Anambra and Delta on September 14, and at least 100 people have been killed across 10 states lying along Nigeria’s two largest rivers, the Niger and the Benue, as seen in a map shared on Twitter by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
