Edit for headphones, September 2022. A performance on the US tv show "Shindig!" on May 20, 1965. Some say this is an early take of the song, I think it is an instruments only song, especially recorded for the tv show, so that Mick Jagger could sing live with a backing tape. That has been done in England on some tv shows too. Usually this was due to the fact that some tv studios just were not properly equipped for bands to perform a live show.
At 2.02 Brian stops playing guitar and reaches for his harmonica, at 2.11 he starts playing.
Watching the video: Mick Jagger sings in the microphone, but Brian Jones has no microphone while playing the harmonica. The guitars of Keith, Brian and Bill were not connected to amplifiers either.
When the Stones performed on this "Shindig!" show, the line "trying to make some girl" was censored. That's why the sound of a part of the original video is blank; I filled the gap to keep the sound going. I also removed the annoying top line of the video that said "THE ROLLING STONES", causing some strange mirroring effects.
Source of this video is the great video artist's Facebook page "Colouring The Past": https://www.facebook.com/Colouringpast/
His Stones video is here: https://www.facebook.com/Colouringpast/videos/352102989644712
Peculiar: on Charlie's drums is a reversed "s" (ƨ): THE ROLLING STONEƧ
