He decides to inspect her house with a magnifying glass even though she told him her cat is not home. After some inspecting, Detective Kyle tells Anna she needs to vacuum more often. Those very words spoken turn out to be an incantation to bond Kyle's soul with the Elder Gods. Kyle starts to turn into an Eldritch horror while Anna grabs a frying pan from the kitchen. She hits him repeatedly until Kyle's soul is no longer one with the Elder Gods and he turns back to normal. Afterwards, the two continued the search for Anna's missing cat, but found nothing.
