Destiny vs. Candace Owens: The Nature of Conspiracy Theories

I just watched a debate between Destiny and Candace Owens, and the funniest thing is that she said “you’re just trying to poke holes in my narrative and say why it’s wrong and that’s not interesting” when she’s essentially spouting off a conspiracy theory involving the deep state controlling Holly Wood and it’s like yeah it’s not interesting to think critically and say “hey, maybe there isn’t some huge nefarious scheme to control us and make us gay or whatever that could be the plot for a dystopian movie” yeah that’s not as interesting but does that make it not true? That’s the problem with the vast majority of conspiracy theories because they all arise out of a desire to make reality more interesting than it really is rather than accepting the truth which can be boring at times.
