Waco is one of those moments in time where you remember exactly where you were when it happened. Like JFK or 9/11, I remember exactly where I was. Someone had turned on the TV in the room where we always had our devotions. It was the moment when those men on the roof broke into the house via the upstairs window and the guy left outside got shot and went down the ladder.
We just instinctively knew that this was important. We were in San Antonio and I was still with the mission and we were living communally in a seven bedroom house outside the city, so as Christians we took notice.
