‘O Come O Come Emmanuel’ - or the pre-Christmas antiphons as they are also known - date back to the 8th or 9th Century. It is a hauntingly beautiful hymn, and a long-time favourite of mine. I thought this would be a good choice with which to kick off the Advent/Christmas season with here on Syefee.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few moving parts to manage in producing this video, and I forgot to ensure that it showed the guitar as well as me on camera 🤣
