However, Jack's son Kim (MI6) and later Jack were working with the Soviets as well. Kim Philby finally fled to Russia where he lived until his death. This part of the story is not addressed, nor is the story of James Jesus Angleton, MI6/CIA, who was allowed to destroy and lose records in the CIA vault at Suitland MD.

In 1920 Churchill drew a line in the sand and created Iraq. Churchill proposed this to be his filling station for the next war. All British Naval ships had upgraded to oil before WWI. The line Churchill drew to form Iraq contained multiple warring bands of Muslims. Many said this was his great mistake, but Winston had decided that this would prevent these tribes from coalescing and allow Britain cheap oil. After WWII the American Oil companies and the CIA gradually cleared the British out for American interests.
