I picked up this great base station at the Shelby HAM fest a while back and have just now had the chance to play with it.
President and later Uniden made these all the way up till around 2000. There is a reason for that. THEY ARE GREAT! These are some of the best radios made from that era. Easy to modify, great receive and transmit and nice to look at. This one has clearly had a life of hard use. It's well worn, but still working almost 30 years later.
