Presentation by Oregon State Director for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), Tom Bowden
Tom Bowden’s background in ufology began way back, about 1970, after he graduated from college. He had become very interested in reading about UFOs in the early 1970s, and in 1975, Tom joined the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization.
In the year 2000, he joined MUFON and became a MUFON investigator. Within about a year, Tom became the Oregon State Director for MUFON. Since then, he has worked on hundreds of investigations, and has continued reading the scholarly literature on UFOs.
Check out the Oregon chapter website, oregonmufon.com, which explains a lot about how UFOs are inextricably intertwined with other aspects of what is commonly called the Paranormal (also thought of as the Transpersonal World).
Tom’s talk and the Q & A time could encompass his Oregon UFO History slides, the rich history of UFO sightings in Oregon and some Oregon UFO cases that he has worked on. He will make time for discussion during and after the presentation. If time permits, Tom can talk about UFOs and National Security (USA, that is) and “high-strangeness experiences” or we can book another meeting with Tom.
