In this video I attempted a prep of telluric acid from tellurium and chloric acid as described in the Handbook of Preparative Inorganic Chemistry page 452. However, I ended up getting TeO2 instead. I'm still calling this a win because this turned out to be a VASTLY superior way of making TeO2 than anything else I have ever tried. And TeO2 is a common precursor for other Te compounds.
