Possible Tornado Leaves Trail of Destruction in Virginia's Franklin County

A suspected tornado left a trail of destruction in the Rocky Mount area of Virginia’s Franklin County on April 19. This footage shows damage wrought on a scrapyard and on properties south of Rocky Mount, near Sydnorsville. The National Weather Service in Blacksburg had issued a tornado warning for the area. Later, law enforcement reported tornado damage in the Sydnorsville area, and the Rocky Mount Fire Department said it had “crews out all day working the tornadoes.” Credit: Jessica McPherson via Storyful
