The theme of the book overall, is about suffering and persevering. Those who persevere in faith while suffering trials tribulations, persecution will still be full of confidence. Peter is writing to encourage his readers to endure suffering and persecution by giving themselves entirely to GOD. Resting in their faith.We are encouraged to remain faithful in times of distress, knowing that GOD will be with us, and vindicate us, in HIS perfect timing.
Ahead of every believer is a divinely prepared inheritance, beyond this transient world, a life of joy and light in the glorious presence of the LORD.

Serve GOD and one another as faithful stewards. Suffer for doing good, not for doing evil. Relate properly with leaders, trusting GOD and resisting Satan.
