The Author arrives and laments at what he's done, what he's become, and how his standards became impossibly high as did his Editor Bots. He has to undo the damage he's done and he needs our help. He wants us to take a copy of Coma and run it hoping that the Editing Virus will follow us in and we'll have to find a way to destroy it. We meet the Masked Man within the game who helps us with Death's Eraser. We need him to help us get to the hospital so we can use the computer there. At the hospital, we fend off being scribbled out then run a game within a game as the virus chases us further in. We go into an apartment and run a VHS tape containing a guide on Coma where we go to the computer in the hospital to run Bad Game: Bridge. The autocorrect virus activates so we spam the antivirus hoping one of the progress bars finishes and gets rid of the program for good. Once it's gone, everything returns to normal. We play trailer for Fever after the guide for Coma ends and we end up back at Plague Doctress' bedroom. We exit and receive a letter from her. The Author's madness has ended, the game is restored, everyone is alive, she's a different person than when we met her now that her "improvements" are gone, she can take off that masks, and best of all, she thanks us. Also her name is Ella. The world fades to white. We wake back in bed in front of our TV screen and turn it off.
