Union Pacific Engine 3033, one of those Tier 4 SD 70 Units, pulls a shorter than we've recently seen NS 195 up the grade by Maybelle / Prospect St. I wondered at first if 3033 was one of the Rier 4s,..but it read SD70AH under the road numbers. But after looking it up,..3033 was indeed an SD70ACeT4. I wasn't impressed with the sound. Much like like the GE ET44,..you can barely hear the prime mover. I'm guessing the exhaust is processed to the degree it almost completely baffles the Engine. Still,..it was cool to get my first Tier 4 SD70. online.
