Remember that saying about how you can't have an omelet without breaking a few eggs? Well, Jesus takes a different approach: "I am the vine, you are the branches. **He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."** (John 15:5). This isn't about smashing yolks - it's about **deep roots and vibrant growth**.
Here's the thing: **fruit doesn't come from frantic flapping or forced flexing**. It comes from **steady, silent connection**. Imagine a grapevine, branches reaching, leaves basking, but everything anchored in the strong, unseen network below. That's **abiding**. That's **being** before **having**.
When we **connect with Christ, that's our root system taking hold. We draw strength, we find direction, and then, **almost effortlessly, fruit starts to appear**. Not forced achievements or hollow accolades, but genuine, nourishing contributions that fill our own lives and enrich the world around us.
So, this week, let's **prioritize abiding**. Spend time in quiet reflection, nurture your connection with God, and trust that the fruit will come **in its own season**. Because when we root ourselves in the infinite God, the potential for growth becomes limitless. ✨
