Question 1: Round Earth; How can an aircraft fly east when the ground speed is moving at 1000 MPH at the equator and the commercial jet only goes 550 MPH?

Question 2; Flat Earth; How can you have a Lunar Eclipse where the sun shines on the earth and casts a the earths shadow on the moon for all to see?
