Mockingbird Media In Canada

The term "mockingbird media" is a reference to a conspiracy theory that the CIA has tried to control the American media for propaganda purposes since the 1950s. Like most conspiracy theories, there is often more than meets the eye. Seems like we have a similar problem in Canada, as there is no independent media.
