Van Life Cross Country Trip With THE TIPSY GYPSY. Swimming In Lake Powell

Day two of my trip across country from New Mexico to Oregon, with my son. We drove in my Chevy van that I turned into a tiny home. We slept in the Walmart parking lot in Page, Arizona on the second night and early the next morning, we went to the dam just outside of Page and my son and I went swimming in Lake Powell. We had to do a bit of hiking to actually get down to the lake. There was no path - we just had to find our way down. The water was really pretty, sort of a greenish blue/aqua, and it was relatively warm. I expected it to be a lot colder than it was.

There was a white labrador retriever next to us that would swim in the lake and retrieve his ball and swim back to shore. He seemed to be having a great time. We saw people on jet skis and people on a boat, that were on a paid tour. We were pretty close to the dam and the landscape was stunning!
