We fight Freeze Man, Slash Man, Shade Man, Turbo Man, Cloud Man, and Junk Man. Burst Man and Spring Man don't even get a cameo, how unfortunate. After all robot masters are defeated, we face off against the Pumpkin from Shade Man's stage in Mega Man 7. After that, it's one last fight against Wily. I can't believe I let the capsule get away this time. Sonuvabitch! After the fight, Bass drops Dr. Wily in the desert. This was all to prove that Bass is the strongest of Dr. Wily's creations and that he doesn't need robot masters. Wily recalls Mega Man having defeated Bass before, but Bass assures Wily that it was just a fluke. He thinks he's strong enough to beat Mega Man this time around. Dr. Wily mentions a robot he's currently working on that'll be more powerful than either Bass or Mega Man. Bass is like yeah, whatever then leaves Wily in the middle of nowhere.
