Restoring The Mac Timber Bear ~ Epoxy Reinforcement

The last threaded hole was pretty close to the edge of the casting. After the cobbled repair by the former owner it was nearly through the side of the casting. Forewarned beats four armed everyday.
I intend to have this saw not need any repairs beyond normal maintenance over the time I own it. There fore the best thing to do is reinforce the casting. I could weld it. If I had a TIG capable of welding magnesium. Not being Old Tony, Old Sneelock goes with the handyman’s secret weapon. Epoxy! 😆😎
