Footage of the remaining cables snapping, and the antennae crashing into the reflective dish which is set into a natural sinkhole on the morning of December 1st, 2020, This Radio Antenna was commissioned on November 1st, 1963. Due to damage by Hurricane Maria (2017), Earthquakes, and support cable failures, The NSF announced on November 19, 2020 that the telescope was being decommissioned, and dismantled. I set the video to the theme of (YES, you've guessed it!) "SPACE : 1999" (Season One, of course)
This was the telescope that was featured in the James Bond movie "Goldeneye". The format of this video is 640x480.
