American volunteer with the Georgia National Legion, 102nd Ukrainian Territorial Defense group (American, Canadian, & British), tells a harrowing story of escape from Ukraine following attacks on their bases (many unreported British dead) and then betrayal by Ukrainian Nationalist Nazis who wanted to send them into Kiev as canon fodder without weapons or ammunition or inadequate ammunition to fight. They told the Ukrainian Nationalist that they would not go, and then were subsequently told to leave or be shot in the back. At the border, any person found with military kits or uniforms, etc were sent back to the front and had their passports shredded.
