Back in 1973 in the San Francisco Bay Area, 18 year old guitar virtuoso Neal Schon and Keyboardist/vocalist Greg Rolie (former members of Santana) formed a band called Journey. Tonight's show features bootlegs of various unreleased concert and live rehearsal tracks. At this stage of their career, 1973 - 1977, Journey was mostly a progressive rock band. The music wasn't geared to the pop market. It was for fans of musical virtuosity. No one on the planet at that time was tearing it up on guitar like Neal Schon. No one.
