Today we will look into the bond markets and specifically the U.S. Treasury market and why it is so important for the health of the whole global financial system.

Our conclusion is that even though the Treasury and other markets look very stable right now nothing has been fixed as usual. The key question is whether the next time there is a meltdown in the Treasury market will the Fed be able to save the day again like it did in March of 2020?
