Pro-America Rant Against SecDef Mark Esper, 3083
Good evening. I’m still reporting on the coup.
Tonight on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox, out of the blue, a Democrat Congressman and former CIA officer, Bryan Wright, took off on an emotional, pro-American rant you’ve got to see.
The topic was yesterday’s press conference by the Sec. of Defense, Mark Esper. Esper essentially threatened to defy any orders from President Trump to send in the National Guard to restore order in the big blue metro areas of the nation.
On Monday night, President Trump brought in the 82nd Airborne Division’s Immediate Response Force because looting took place the previous night and apparently intel had crossed the President’s desk as to the plans of Antifa for the coming night.
Beth and were excited by Trump’s decisive action and the result was no further destruction Monday night and D.C. has been relatively quite since.
Compare that to New York, where the President has offered the Mayor the assistance of the military to quell the nighttime looting. The Mayor refused and the looting has continued, destroying the wealthiest shops in this once-great city.
My last cleared job was in OSD – the Office of the Sec. of Defense – in the Pentagon. It was not what I expected. A lot of political correctness had already taken root – and this was in 2012. There were managers who were foreign born and were not patriotic Americans – a condition that was unbelievable to me when I first encountered it. Everyone in that office had to have at least a SECRET clearance! And this was in the IT Department – talk about critical infrastructure! These managers – interestingly, mostly women - saw to it that anyone who did not share their politics – that America was a bad place - was not promoted, or in my case, would not have their contracts renewed. Really scary!
So having the highest civilian official in the Pentagon – the SECDEF - go on television and espouse ignorance of the importance of the chain of command, especially civilian control of the military, was shocking to me – and to others who had long held security clearances.
One more thing, though the lefties may think this Constitutional position is bad, bad, bad. Believe me, they wouldn’t be thinking that if the tables were reversed.
Tucker first laid the foundation – why civilian control of the military is absolutely essential for a Republic to remain free. Then he asked Rep. Wright just one question and Wright took off on a 3-minute legendary rant, just like any good patriotic American should.
I’m still reporting from just outside the citadel of American freedom. Good day.
