A fin weapon awaits you at the Deathclaw promontory, next to the bodies of the power armored prospectors, one holding the Remnants power armor. You will have to fight your way through hordes of deathclaws to get it though. The Rail Cannon is a powerful beast, but will sway a lot if you have low Energy Weapons skill, it still destroys most enemies in 1 or 2 shots though.
