Why saying "It's a private company" to justify Social Media Censorship is wrong

Twitter, Facebook and YouTube/Google are doing all they can to silence non-Left views.

Many on the Left use the argument “it’s a private company they can do what they want” to justify their actions but the argument is wrong.

A private company can’t always “do what it wants” as it still needs to respect it’s customers and cannot change the rules down the track once people have bought a product.

As social media derives it’s value from the user, the user ultimately owns the account they have created and grown.

Social Media companies need to be brought back into line and told to respect the freedom of speech and property rights of their users.
