The downside is Tannis can't mass produce the stuff in time so no one else is immune yet and Hector has already started gassing Pandora. We make our way through the lower levels of Sanctuary removing vines tangled up in the gears and then make our way to Marcus' armory. As we make our way to the center of town, we learn that Mordecai is gonna be okay. We face Hector in a showdown and Lilith teleports in to lend a hand. Once Hector is weakened, we try to take the Vault Key from him, but he unleashes incredible power. Lilith has a plan, but she's going to need Eridium; a lot more than she's ever used in her life. Luckily, Crazy Earl's old residence still has all the Eridium we ever gave to him in exchange for all those SDUs. Hector tells Lilith that the map within the Vault Key leads to power unimaginable and that he's fused with it and Sanctuary. Lilith uses all her power to blow up Sanctuary and kill Hector for good. We lost our home and we lost the Vault Key. Lilith shares with everyone what she learned from Hector about the Vault Key. We'll need to find that Vault Key then build a spaceship to search the surrounding planets. We're also gonna need some new Vault Hunters to recruit as well. In a post-credit scene, we see that the Vault Key is still on Pandora in the middle of nowhere. And that's the end of the story, but we have three more side jobs to do and forget the raid boss.
